Kilmarnock Road Children and Young People Family Resource Centre - Community Centre Manager
Salary: £34,800 (FTE)
24 hours a week (occasional possibility of additional paid hours)

Kilmarnock Road Centre is a lively Community Centre for residents of the Owton Manor area of Hartlepool, run by a committed group of local people. The Centre provides services for local children, young people and adults and is always looking to establish new services for the benefit of the community. Some of the services are delivered by the Centre’s staff, and other services are delivered in the Centre by partner organisations.
The Centre is now looking for a Centre Manager, who will lead the work of the organisation, managing the staff and reporting to the Board of Trustees. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy community centre, providing services for a very diverse community. The postholder leads the management team and has responsibility for the day to day management of staff and volunteers and the day-to-day interface with centre users, service providers and the general public.
The postholder is also responsible for working with the Trustee Board, enabling it to fulfil its governance functions through appropriate advice and information on all relevant matters; and for the delivery of effective financial systems and for income generation within the organisation.
