"It’s very community focused, it’s a close knit community with a strong identity of its own."
"I’d like to see money spent on the community centres and family support hubs. These were a lifeline to us when mine were younger and made a difference to our lives. I’d like to see more affordable housing for those in need and bins in streets for rubbish"
"I like knowing people. I would like there to be a place in the Burn Valley where we can use the toilet and there is first aid for the kids, or someone watching out for what is going on in case there is trouble. I want the space opposite St Aiden's to look nice and be a place to go with the kids that is safe, not a dumping ground. "
