UK Research and Innovation has provided funding for research conducted in partnership with diverse communities. Participatory research involves the communities and users of research, better recognising their experience, needs and preferences, and supporting communities to implement findings.
Teesside University are hosting two regional events designed to support voluntary and community sector organisations in engaging communities through participatory research and guidance on applying for funding.
At each event you will hear about successful past projects, receive practical guidance on participatory research and funding applications, and have an opportunity to network with academics and sector professionals.
